Overview of the role
The CEO will be responsible for identifying and maximizing the business potential of the organisation and work towards maximizing the sustainability of CCT. The CEO will seek to maximize our business income and reduce our dependency on grant aid through the implementation of a development plan to support and monitor future growth. The CEO will develop an action and marketing plan to deliver the proposed Castle Community Trust Community Center new build regeneration project. The CEO will identify and apply for funding for posts to achieve all the operational roles within CCT.
Summary of main responsibilities:
· To manage and support the operations manager and give general direction agreed with the board.
· To lead CCT in identifying commercial opportunities amongst its current operations and future.
· To lead in the development of an agreed business plan for the CCT sub-contracting business activity.
· To market, develop and grow our established businesses.
· Create and maintain a strong PR strategy to promote the work of CCT, the vision and mission of the organisation and its impacts on the local community.
· Work with the Board and board officers to develop the Castle Community Trust Community Centre regeneration project.
· Develop an operational plan on the development of the Castle Community Trust Flagship Centre and secure funding to achieve this objective.
· Prepare monthly progress reports for the board.
· Leading the expansion of contact with external key influencing organisations as funders or other support organisations
· Develop a funding strategy with operational manager and the senior staff
· Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the organisation’s business development.
· Meet regularly with the Operations Manager to monitor progress, project management issues and discuss opportunities
· To create and maintain good working relationships with Company Directors, staff, clients, volunteers and all other stakeholders while ensuring effective communication at all levels of the organisation.
