Participants attending this programme come from mixed backgrounds, and in many cases have a direct impact on shaping views and opinions on the ground, the youth intervention programme allow them to understand the relationship between all backgrounds from within the community, Proper knowledge and understanding of the history will allow participants to reshape their opinions on others, decrease the level of prejudice and will have a positive impact on fostering community and personal relationships between people and at the same time making the community more inclusive. This leads to decreasing levels of hate crime motivated incidents in the area. This programme will also reduce levels of anti-social behavior by providing an interesting alternative for people to take part in. This project also provides a chance to be continued in the future, for example, the group can encourage other people from the area to come together and plan other activities, such focusing on the shared history and promoting good relations.
